MISSION STATEMENT
Gingersnap Inclusive Arts is a small, woman-operated non-profit organization committed to helping children and young adults with neurodiversities and mental health challenges such as anxiety learn strategies to help manage some of these challenges through art.

Making art allows children the opportunity to learn how to make critical judgements and make mistakes in a safe and fun environment, boosting not only creativity but self esteem.

Through creativity, children learn how to express who they are, their feelings and thoughts, and complex ideas.

Through the practice of creating and creative problem solving, children learn to see that there is more than one solution to a problem, there are alternative ways of seeing things, and to persist.

Creating art is conducive to kids having a growth mindset because each element of art builds upon the last. Art also allows people to hold more than one complex idea at a time and convey those concepts creatively.
